About BYPAA

OUR STORY

In response to the growing need for a coordinated approach to improving performing arts opportunities for youth in Braidwood and district, a new community group called the Braidwood Youth Performing Arts Association (BYPAA) was formed.

Our vision is to support existing and create new performing arts opportunities for the kids of Braidwood and surrounding districts.

By providing positive activities, workshops and mentoring relationships, we hope to boost confidence, well-being, physical and mental health outcomes for young people.

Our Team is made up of a group of passionate individuals who either have children interested in performing arts or are experienced teachers in the performing arts. They are dedicated to volunteering their free time to help develop programmes and opportunities for children in the Braidwood area. With their combined experience and knowledge, they have big goals and high standards.

We need more volunteers to help make dreams come true.

Member Night volunteers might be board gamers, theatre sporters, movie enthusiasts, karaoke champs, story tellers or crowd controllers.  The more vollies we have for Member Nights, the more member nights we can have (spread the load...and we can take turns have a night out too!).

We are also seeking talented folks who can offer inspiration to our youth.  If you have a workshop idea, please submit it to our team.  Volunteer offers are ultra brilliant, but we also invite those who need to be paid.

To help us pay without charging the youth, we will seek grants.  And we always welcome donations.
